さて、２７日のイベントまであと１週間となりました。
先日、ようやく音楽や衣装を決めた所です。
店舗でのフロアーショーは、大掛かりな事は出来ないけど、
間近で見れる楽しみがありますよね。
息づかいがダイレクトに聞こえてくる、という。
蕾火さんのショーは、見納めですよ。
体調が悪く、暫く入院されるというのを、
この日のために、空けてくれたのです。
蕾火さんと出会って１０年以上になりますか。
初めてステージを見た時、似た匂いを感じたのです。
それ以来私の中では、「女王様」というより、
ステージに立つ者として、親近感を感じていました。
奈加あきらさん。
今回のイベントでは、団鬼六師を意識した、
緊縛を見せてくれるそうです。

９月２６日〜１０月６日まで英国ロンドンに行って来ます！４月のロシアに続き招待いただきました。９月２７日〜３０日イベント（２８日、２９日LIVE出演）１０月１日〜４日までWarkshop！４日間の講習会！参加者はヨーロッパのプロの緊縛師達だそうです！そんなプロの人達に何を教えたらいいか悩むところです！

The London Festival of the Art of Japanese Rope Bondage presents kinbaku (aka shibari/Japanese rope bondage) as an artistic inspiration, a performance art in its own right and as a means of erotic communication, whilst sharing knowledge about it and its cultural context in a way that is accessible to all. We present an unparalleled range of talent from around the world and the reputation of being the Japanese bondage event.. Numbers are very limited making this an exclusive and unique experience. It includes:
- Kinbaku inspired art, photography and design
- Presentations, classes and workshops by world renowned experts
- Music, movies and videos
- Performances and demonstrations
- Japanese food and drink
The main venue will be the Resistance Gallery. This is an unique, multi-functional, modern, 2,200sq ft arts, performance & gallery space in the creative heart of Bethnal Green, London E2. It provides art exhibition space, theatre, avant-garde gatherings, cabaret, photographic shoots, filming & video location, live music events, multi media installation experiences, workshops etc.

I have collected a few random pieces on our star guest. This is what Master K has to say in his book, Beauty of Kinbaku:
“For those not familiar with the name Naka Akira, Naka sensei is considered one of the most accomplished of the younger professional bakushi (rope artists) currently working in Japan. Similar in stature to Mai Randa and Marai Masato, Naka Akira is also considered the only true deshi (disciple) of the great Nureki Chimuo. A master of traditional kinbaku techniques, he has worked for Art Video, Cinemagic and other well known video, film and book producers for many years. His exquisite DVD series “Nawaetsu” (“Rope Joy”) is generally regarded as one of the most beautiful and intense series of kinbaku art studies to be produced in recent times.
As famous as his kinbaku is Naka sensei’s full body tattoo, created by the master tattoo artist Horitoku. This beautiful piece of body art has made Naka Akira one of the most recognizable and famous bakushi in Japan today.”

Rope Session
I’m in a good mood so I thought I’d start with a high-level wordplay. Anyway, browsing some Kinbaku-related discussions on Fetlife.com, I found the work of Naka Akira. I downloaded a couple of videos and to be honest, it is one of the most beautiful bondage I’ve seen. Far from the boring photo—graphic occidental approach, Naka Akira is always very close to looking messy which gives an uncanny realism to the scene, in spite of the obvious staging. And for some reason, a japanese bondage masters, although geeky remain credible while an occidental one usually looks like he should just go back to eating pizza and playing World of Warcraft.

Naka Akira’s tattoos
Mr Naka Akira, (the kinbakushi already presented here and mentioned by Riccardo Wildtiesin his interview) happens to be tattooed in a traditional Japanese style. I was not able to find any information on this point. Hopefully I will get to interview him one day on the question…

Like kinbaku, the Festival is organic. However it turns out, you can be sure that this will be the best event yet. Unlike festivals in the years previous to last where we have had one big show night, we will be spreading our top acts across all the evenings to make sure each is unmissable. THE SURPRISE IN NAKA-SAN’S SUITCASE
Vincent, my English speaking intermediary with Naka-san, has been tantalising me with talk of a“surprise in his suitcase” for several days. I’ve been wracking my brains as to what it could be. Had Osada Steve finally yielded to my pleas to package Ageha up and mail her over? Was it an catering supply of the dreaded nattoh, over which we had had some banter? Vincent confirmed there might be some truth in my suspicion that it was only invented to be eaten by Samurai in full sight of their enemy before battle to unnerve them 
Frankly, I’d find that more terrifying that them eating the still beating hearts of their captives! However, I understand that nattoh is Japan’s equivalent to Marmite. You either love it or hate it. I digress…
So, back on track. Finally, Vincent revealed the secret today in the following email:
“Well Bruce, just got the “ok” from Naka san
There’s a man, around 70 years old, who works with Naka san very often…
A few days ago, this man asked to Naka san :
“Do you think I can go to London with you? I mean, I’ll pay for my trip. Some kind of a private trip.”
Then Naka san answered :
“Oh! Sensei! I think that would be a great idea! Maybe, Esinem san will be very surprised about that!”
So… do you know a man named Norio Sugiura? 
…seems that this year’s “London Festival of the Art of Japanese Bondage” will be quite an important event not to miss

As you might have guessed by our frequent references to said gentleman, Nina and I are massive fans of his photograph and hugely inspired by the kinbakushi he features. All I can say is “Wow! It will a great honour to have him as our guest.”
